    Best wirelss k/b and mouse?

What do you think? Optical mouse is a must, of course. I see the logitech DUO and the MS intellmous and k/b setup? What do you guys see around that looks good? Price is a factor of course. Best bang for buck?

i got the logitech cordless elite duo as it was much cheaper than the mx version. and i didn't like the mouse that came with the mx version. the mouse from duo feels better in my hand.

the non mx mouse uses AA batteries however, and the mx mouse uses AAA batteries but you can charge them right in the mouse.

i didn't know this till i actually got the product but it wasn't a problem since a had a whole bunch of rechargabe AA's kicking around.

I don't have one, but I really like the look and feel of the new Microsoft IntelliMouse with sideways scrolling. Bit expensive, tho, and no rechargeability.

i have a logitech mx duo (the keyboard is the same in both duos while the mx duo has an mx700 mouse)

i also have the mouse from a normal duo and it is FAR inferior to the mx700 which is probably the coolest mouse i've ever used.

both mice use AA batteries and you can find great deals for any of the aforementioned items on ebay, including batteries. thats what i did. just be careful

and with the mouse: the logitech drivers stank, use microsoft intellimouse drivers, that way all the games are sure to recognize your mouse buttons.

I use and reccomend to all my customers the Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard/Wireless Optical Mouse setup.
I get them both as an OEM kit for about US$50 and they haven't let me down.

I've tried the logitech ones and they just seem too plastic and ugly. They do have the recharger system, but the MS betteries in the keyboard last around 8 months and the mouse an easy 3, (I use 2100mAh rechargeables).
The mouse doesn't have side buttons, but thats a small price to pay for not having to drag about a stupid heavy mouse cord.

I have the Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical set, wireless keyboard and optical mouse. Nice keyboard, but the mouse is not as responsive/fast as the OEM Dell mouse it replaced.

well ive seen many k/m combos, such as viewsonic, memorex logitec, but i have to say microsoft wireless desktop has my vote.
i love how the microsoft feels in my hand. lot better than logitecs...those things are so darn tiny in my hand.

microsoft wireless desktop. for 50 bucks, its the best duo.
