MS Works 2000 - error messages
1 when trying to open Works files:
" Works cannot access one or more files needed to run the word processor. Files may have been renamed deleted or removed. Try reinstalling works and try again. "
2 Tried to uninstall Works 2000, but:
"Setup is unable to register tasks"
Have tried manually deleting Works and related registry entries, but Works still thinks it exists and will only re-install. This leads back to error message # 1!
Have tried MS Knowledge Base without success.

If that gets complicated. Just download Open Office 1.1 (www.openoffice.org) It's free and MS Office compatible!

I've managed to delete every trace of MS Works and convert all my old files, so I don't think I'm going to need to re-install Works now in any case.
Just one of those annoying vicious circles when it happened, tho!
Thanks, guys.
