Sad but true its always those who are paid least that get the thing to work and sort out all the bugs management introduce.

Just ask me - My boss is a complete fanny!
And I mean double dipped fanny!

He recenlty asked me to install a demo product on our production intranet server

When I pointed out that this might not be a good idea he poo poo d it and said and I quote "Never mind , if it gets broken im sure you can fix it"
    eh?

well mines has got to be tripled dipped, my tech has a dickie heart and managed to give himself a belt from a 400v cap on a monitor pcb, just enough to make us all wet ourselves laughing at him as he looked a right plonker, but triple dipped got wind of it and now,

anyone getting any kind of shock has to be taken to the A&E for a heart scan

and there is to be no live working or its gross misconduct

now how the frikkendickellen are you supposed to fix anything electrical unless its plugged in!!!!!

ps the monitor in question just had a residual charge in the cap and wasn't plugged in anyway.

    Sorry bout yer dad
Didnt mean to cause any heartache!

Hmmm Yeah ken whit ye mean about bosses.

Strange aint it that its always the ones who havent a clue about the dept they work in that get made into bosses.
I think in IT all bosses should have come up through the ranks - have never met an IT boss yet that knows anything about the technical aspects of IT.

What age are ye AMM - Ye sound like me 33 going on 17?
