A lot of the old AT boards had pinouts for USB ports, but many cables are proprietary and they cost just as much a new card. You might want to just opt for USB2, but I'm not sure what the minimum system requirements are. check with the manufacturer before getting any card.

You will need at least 32MB RAM and a BIOS that supports USB - whether the board has USB or not. I would suggest updating the BIOS. Once the update is applied, you need to enable USB in BIOS setup (once again, whether the board has USB or not).
Strange, but true.
BTW - this old geezer is going to run like molasses with USB. It's just not strong enough.
