I'm fairly confident there is as many software packages I have bought for use as telephone answering "machines" have a "speakerphone" function. I should think it's a matter of configuring a microphone and sound card with a voice modem. I'd tell you how, but I've never done it as I've never needed to. Check the features on a few software products, and I'll bet you'll see "speakerphone" capabilities...
