Sort of like an AFTER EIGHT -sweet and uncommonly good!
Still sounds good to me
(Thats a chocolate delicacy in the UK by the way!)
If I were you id rip everything apart and just get the motherboard , cpu , and video card plugged in just to be 100% sure - reset the bios to default - make sure the speaker is plugged in - switch on and dont gorget to cross fingers , toes and boompsa daisy - (technicians secret : thats what i do and it works nearly every time , oh that and giving it a good hard bash with a hammer)
if its gubbed just take it back and tell em either the truth and (hear the techies say huh stoopid woman lets sell her any old line) or fib and whupp some techie bott bott!

Well, finally Im semi back to normal. At least Im not on the turtle anymore. I bought a whole new MB and CPU. Got em' in and it's back to running... but now Im boggled again and Im really afraid to tackle this issue once again...This time no playing with any 'V' settings I promise!
Okay the MB I got is a 'Shuttle AK32VN 266MHz DDR Socket A Motherboard with Athlon XP 1900+ Processor'. I put it in. No problem minus my power button... when I attach it, it doesnt turn it on. I took a power button off of my Compaq and put it on there...and it worked perfectly... the switch on it seems to be like universal or something..anyhoo... My problem is that the CPU is showing as a 1.2mhz. why is this? I know it's not! Im basically back to square one. And $100 less rich!
On a happier note....Happy Halloween!
Here is the complete specs of the MB. -------->

lol...at least one member of the male race isnt in denial... :P
Im looking at the manual...and it clearly says something to the reguards of "kathrina terms" dummies dont mess with bios. But not in those exact words....something about advance users...
