PLEASE HELP INTEL P4 USER
Hi all,
I would like to get into overclocking and I am just starting to read as much as I can on doing it. However, before I waste my time too much, I would like to know if its possible to overclock my system.
I have a P4 2.4GHz 533FSB
Intel 845GRG Motherboard
512mb DDR266 RAM
Is it possible to overclock this? If so, is anyone able to point me in the right direction please? I do not mind reading more if thats what it takes, just don't want to waste me time to much.
I would be grateful to anyone who could offer me some assistance.
Many Thanks
KiLL

As far as I remember Intel implementer a +2...+4% of "allowed" OC in it's BIOS. Of course, 4% is not much, so with a BIOS help you cannot OC.
I think you should try a program which will tell the PLL which frequency to generate (like SoftFSB or something). I think it is worth to try.
Next time don't buy Intel mobos.
