    Error Messages

Would appreciate some help on the following error messages. Both systems are Win XP Home

    1. The instruction at Ox77f51f2c referenced memory at Ox007f4f0. The memory could not be written.

    msimn.exe - application error report.

Also when trying to install Microsoft Office onto the computer I get the following error message during installation.

office.cab file could not be found. I have tried two different copies of the Microsoft office and both report this error.

Could it be a windows error or office error.
Thank you for all help received.

the error in msimn.exe is related to outlooks, perhaps that is why you are having the problem installing microsoft office

my apologies - I should have said that the issues are on two different machines.

On the first error relating to Outlook, I have noticed that this appears to happen on many Xmachines.
Thank you for all help received.

outlook is more of a contact manager/scheduler and pretty darn unfriendly at that ( compared to ACT! )

if it's just email / address book ( and basic contacts ) then use outlook express and don't install the office outllook

heck the win98se machine i use has outlook 2000 installed though i never use it

the extra features seem to be Notes & then Calender related
