    can you share internet with 2 laptops built in wireless without router?

    Yes - use the "ad hoc" feature in the adapter properties.

    there would have to be 2 network adapters or a nic and a modem on one of the laptops, then you would have to do ICS to share the wireless connection. It's more hassles than getting a wireless router, but that's up to you.
