    Beta Testing

Ive just gotten my first assignment for beta testing on the Unreal II expanded multiplayer patch. As far as beta testing goes, how does it work and what should i be looking for?

In the couple or so beta's I've been in they can handle all different ways. At a minimum, I would assume they have a bug handler program where you can log in your issues as they come in game. Then ofcourse their website will prob have a section for testers to relay feedback and issues. I love beta testing. Such a fun experience and you meet a lot of very interesting/nice people.

As far as what you do? Haha. Do you damndest to crash everything! Major props goto people that can take down servers. But seriously, just do everthing you would normally do, then micromanage it. You like jumping b/t platforms, well, jump to the platform from ever possible angle.

You like spamming with grenades? Do it, but then switch b/t another weapon or try jumping and spamming. Ect. All else, just don't get frustrated. You're not playing a free demo....its a beta version, so there are supposed to be issues. In the end, its fun too!

So basically the idea is to see how much you can destroy the game, and f*** up the game as much as i possibly can? Sounds like this is going to be fun. I am also signed up for T3: War of the Machines, now that looks like it will be a fun game.
