    I read an article in e*trade that amd is back up by IBM and Microsoft and including chip manufactures

    amd is not going away and i don't think the govt. will let it sink

    i advertise to friends and tell them intel isnt whats its all hyped up to be

    still they dont listen except for the few SMART EXCEPTIONS

    AMD's stock has gone up roughly 30% in the last 3 trading days.

    Technology strategist Fred Hickey said AMD's new chips are "the most significant threat Intel has ever faced."

    So something is going AMD's way for the time being.
