memory help
Hi there,
I have a K6 300 computer with at present 64mb of edo ram in and 16 mb of fast page memory in it. I have now purchased two 32 mb 100mhz dimms, which will fit in the mother board, but disable the other memory. I was wondenring, whether it was better to have more slower memory of less faster memory?
Any help would be welcomed.
Cheers

In this case, less and faster is much better.

To take full advantage of it, make sure your FSB is set to 100MHz (x3).

Hi there,
thanks for the replies, I have now changed the memory over to see the difference. I'll get back to you folks.
Cheers
