    Nero Overburn

    Guys

currently using Nero 6 Ultra....I have heard of overburning..but never done it. I see an option that allows you to overburn on a CD...to fit more data on it. How much of an overburn you you generally get on a normal CDR. Anyone use this feature and wish to give their experience?
I have some files that are just a bit big...maybe overburn would allough me to get them on one CDR.

    Thanks

i've used nero to overburn just a bit....like if i have a file that is a few megabytes too big, i'll use overburn...but i've never used it to burn like 20 or 30 megs extra...be careful though, it says that it can damage your burner...*use sparingly*

you can always use bigger 90 or 99min CDR's to overburn on current cd recorders. But, yes there is some risk involved, like either the data/cd going corrupt or recorder going kaput. But most of the times it works well when you use higher capacity cdr's.Just to be on the safer side.

Feurio might help you to check how much will fit on specific CD.
