Motocross Madness 2 and Radeon 9800 Pro

Was playing this fien on my ti4200, now ive put the 9800Pro in i get regular stutters making the game almost unplayable, ive played several games and this is the only one exhibiting such symptoms so im guessing at a driver problem/bug. However i cant find a patch for the game and im patched up to Catalyst 3.6. Has anyone got any ideas or similar experiences before i have to start running this in *shudders* software mode

Sorted it, bit of an oddun too, no matter how much AA/AF i did or didnt use it wouldnt stop with the stuttering. So i started tweakign the ingame options for detail, moved it from highest detail to second from highest and voila all was well, so one by one i adjusted each detail setting back up until i found the culprit, which was the terrain detail setting. Even if i changed the terrain from double pass to single pass rendering it wouldnt stop stuttering if it was on maximum level, so all ive done is left it to double pass render the terrain, left all other gfx optiosn to the maximum except for Terrain which is second from maximum.

Odd considering my old 64mb ti4200 didnt burp over this like

    Oh well
