ABIT SA6 & Memory problem

I have not seen this problem before and need some ideas.
I bought an Abit SA6 M/B with a PIII 750 / 100 cpu. I put a generic 128 Kb / PC-100 stick from my old system in the new one and new sys would not post. Got a Toshiba 128Kb / pc100 stick and installed that one, system booted , but only registered 64Kb of memory.
Now I have a 256Kb / PC-133 stick that will only registed 128Kb !!! What is going on?
