    Radeon 9600 OpenGL

    umm hmm does radeon 9600 PRO support opengl??

    when i play counterstrike i tried picking with opengl before but it said it wasnt supported, so i went to direct3d and its great quality. im just curious if opengl is supported.

    opengl is fully supported by any card in the radeon series

    Yeah, it supports OpenGL. My friend had the same problem wiht his Geforce 3 Ti. It wouldn't work in opengl but it did in D3D.

    We tryed installing New drivers, Dx9, and now we are going to just reformat his hardrive. He needs to reformat anyways.

    yeah i reformatted and now it works = D i think it was conflicting with old voodoo drivers

    If you were using the old voodoo drivers before you used the 9600, then you probably had the mini driver selected in the openGL video mode selection, and if that was the case, then you didnt have to restart it at all.
