ok i have a generic 350 watt OKIA power supply (came with my case) i dont know whats safe or what the voltages r supposed to be but here i will list
+12v: 12.928
+5V: 4.92
+3.3V: 3.456
Vcore:1.728
i will soon be adding a radeon 9600
are these numbers safe? i do not have any instability problems right now but i am wondering if i will when i get my new video card
current hardware on PSU:
asus a7n8x motherboard
52x24x52 sony cd-rw
Samsung Floppy
30 gb seagate hard drive 7200 rpm
HSF
2 fans
neon light
amd 2500+

thanks a lot guys
just found out my generic psu is 420 watts not 350
and these r the stats for the PSU
+3.3V: 28A
+5V: 40A
12V: 18A
looks like im ok for now

The 12 volt rail seems a bit high, but if everything is running stable, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Unfortunatly to really KNOW if your PSU needs upgrading, you need something like an O-Scope to be able to test how "clean" the power is. I was actually going to post a very similar thread considering my voltage, I have similar readings:

I wish someone would integrate a load meter into their PSU's... That would be VERY helpful.
