Decoder Card Output picture on TV
A while back when i first got my Creative Labs Encore Kit the Dxr3 Decoder Card had only beta win2k drivers, but still i got a perfect colour picture when i hooked the card up the tv.
However for sometime now after several reinstalls of My OS (Win2k) for various reasons the output picture is black and white!
I now dual boot with windows 98 but even using the drivers on the CD for windows 98 i still cannot get a colour picture.
Could this be a faulty cable problem?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rich

I have no idea how decoder cards work, but I get black and white picture from my vcr if it is set to wrong area. Thus, upon installation it is set to pal-h, even thou the area I live uses pal-bghi. I'm sure there's nothing similar with decoder card but this might give some light to it =)

I agree with muno, as this sounds like an output prob. with the specific PAL setting. Be sure to verify the setting is properly configured for your type of television.
