If your mobo allows you to increase the FSB, then that is what you nned to do.

There is NO WAY to unlock a P2/P3/P4 Intel processor.

If the mobo does not have a way to increase the FSB, then you can not overclock.

Your processor may be able to hit 450 MHz and very unlikly it may even go up to 500 MHz. It will never go higher than 500 MHz without extreme measure for cooling.

Why not replace the processor with something higher to start with?

This kind of info is useless:

    System Serial Number: 8852BXHT0507
    Chassis Serial Number: 8852BXHT0507

Look up the P2 400 here to see how far others have overclocked it and how -

    The Overclocking Database - http://www.sysopt.com/ocdatabase.html

I reckon it would be best to leave it as it is, because any extra MHz won't be noticed. You have to at least double the processor's speed to notice a difference, and you will probably only be able to increase it by about 50MHz.

if you have cheap pci cards (eg network or sound) you wont get much outta it, cos of the pci dividers.

as you raise the front side bus, or the 'bus clock' as you called it, the pci speeds also increase.

    divider for 100mhz is 1/3, divider for 133mhz is 1/4, 166 is 1/5 and 200mhz is 1/6 etc.

default pci bus speed is therefore 33mhz. anyhting above 35 makes cheap kit unstable, above 37 is dodgy with anything and 40 is mostly impossible, so, on a 1/3 divider, the best fsb you can expect is 112mhz, or maybe 120mhz if u dont use pci.

that would give max cpu speed of 448mhz with pci, 480 without.

    i doubt 500 is possible
