Half-Life...
I finished it finally. I've been playing for most of the year but becuase of lost saved games, I was allways derailed off of the fast trak....Now what?
Whare can I find a good CS bot trainer type thing to prep me for online...

This is quite an old game!
Give a man a fish
It will feed him for a day
Give a man a fishing rod
It will feed him forever

Podbot is the bot of choice

The best way to get good online is to join servers and just play... obviously bots help but they arent a very reliable way of trying to judge how good you actually are.
There are beginner only servers out there that can be handy to go on...
PodBot is probably the best though, as Jakk said.

Yeah, I finished it a long while back, but even though it's old, its still one of the best
P.S - Beware, CS handles very differently to HL!

just go on and play CS bots suck anyway u will only get experience from real players
get CS from www.counter-strike.net
version 1.5
also get http://www.computergames.ro/download...wnload&did=823
which is beta version 1.6 (doesnt require half-life) and is major improvement (it even has wide screen option which works great on my dell 8500 with widescreen :P)

CS 1.6
On the subject of 1.6, has an actual release date been confirmed??
It seems to have been in the beta testing stages for what seems an ice age now.
Is it wanting to synchronize it's release with the phantom CS: Condition Zero which has also gone very quiet?

So will Counter-Strike 2 comes out for Half-Life 2? I hope it will because I like Counter-Strike, though! I hope the developers will come out something that will replace Counter-Strike and revolutionize the online multiplayer FPS game.
Yeah...

I've heard a CS2 is in the works ( not CS:CZ ) but I dont know how much truth there is in that.

Counter-Strike version 1.6 is mess, just like everything that Valve handles.
It was supposed to be released in February or something with Steam (a game-matching program or something) The whole thing overloaded and crashed and here we are still without a patch.
Condition Zero has been delayed for like a year and half, good old valve.
