    FROM WINDOWS 98 SE TO ME

    I KNOW ALOT DON'T LIKE ME- BUT THIS IS WHAT I LIKE-CAN YOU TELL ME HOW AND WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO GO FROM 98 SE TO ME-DO I HAVE TO FDISK AND IF I I DO HOW- I MEAN I KNOW YOU ALL ARE SMART WHEN IT COME TO COMPUTERS BUT I'M NOT-I NEED STEP BY STEP- AND IT IS A DELL ME DISK. THANKS

    If its a Dell CD the chances are good its a recovery CD so set the BIOS to boot from CD and take it from there. It will blow away everything and reinstall the computer to factory settings.

    If its a recovery CD it wont work on a non Dell computer because the hardware wont be the same.

    Haley, a note about Caps lock, some people view caps as being yelling and dont take kindly to it, personally i make the same mistake frequently when typing, but just to let you know for the future

    Sorry but were not allowed to tell you how to obtain a copyright cd other than to buy it, were more than willing to help you do the install or make repairs. Let us know when you have a cd and we'll answer your questions.

    With winme its better to do a full install rather than use an upgrade cd.
