    a7v133-c +1.2t-bird

I know my systems old but its all I got. Anyone still using the same motherboard+cpu as me. I'm just wondering what kind off overclocking speeds you are getting. I have mine running at 1463, 11X133. Is this a good overclock? My temps are 40'c idle and about 44'c after a long gaming session. I have ran it at this speed for about 8 months and have had no lock-ups or anything. Did I get a chip that was labeled wrong or what?

Yes this is on stock heatsink + fan. The only other cooling I have is one fan at the front of my case blowing in and one at the side blowing in, no exaust fan except for the power supply fan. I never changed my fsb cause it screws up my usb ports if I put it up any higher than 135. Could I have got a 1.33 chip instead that was labeled wrong? It defaults in my bios to 1.2. Plus chip came unlocked already all I had to do to overclock was change multiplier in bios.

something is not right for shure, because there is no way u could run a 1.2gig tb at 11 x 133 = 1463 and get ~40 temps. Most probably is that ur cpu is not unlocked and that its runing at 9 x 133 = 1197~1.2gig not all the boards can auto unlock the multip... try to unlock it manualy.

Many later tbirds came unlocked. You may have just gotten a great stepping. BE HAPPY!

Your temps look good, I'd try to squeeze some more out of it. Especially if you haven't even tried to raise the core voltage yet. Clock that bad boy.

I don't know about that, When I run 3dmark 2002 it reflects the changes i make. I gain about 250 marks. Also sissoft sandra 2002 reports my clock running at this speed, so does mm5. And I do see a performance gain when playing games, so I must have gotten lucky. And I thought all 266fsb t-birds came unlocked???
