I"m still new to this oc stuff, however when i bought my computer, they offered it from 1.5g - 2.0ghz. And it seemed to be an internal adjustment.

I have a p4 1.7 with 256 of ram. All i do i surf, write papers and multimedia stuff. None the less, i'd love to speed things up a little. I was 'playing' in the bios, and I became aware that you could speed up the CPU from 100 to ??? and also the DRAM from 133 to ? - -what are these, and i'm sure there's more to overclocking than this????

I do intend to get some more ram, which i'm sure will help me in the speed area, but is there anything else i can do?
