2400+ won't work on A7V333

I have A7V333 rev. 1.02, I just purchased the 2400+ CPU, installed it and all I could get was the bios, no further. I tried fiddling with the Vcore voltage but that didn't work either.
Another odd thing was that my Graphics Aperture size and Video memory cache mode were both greyed out and I couldn't change them if I wanted to. I put my 1900+ back in and it was unchanged. I guess Asus is wrong in stating that I could use the 2400+ as long as it was 266 FSB.
Any one with an idea?

You probably need to upgrade your bios.
