A PCI Ethernet with plug for an external activity LED??

    Hi guys
I need a standard PCI Ethernet card. But, I heard of a guy that had one that he could plug a hard drive activity LED wire into to monitor Internet activity. I have an extra LED in my front bezel, and would love to have this option. I can find cards with an LED built into the PCI slot bracket, or with an WOL plug, but no plug for monitoring Internet activity.

Has anyone seen such a card? I've been looking through the many at Newegg.

Thanks for any help finding one.

Seem to remember that facility on older Nics and onboard Nics- Havent seen any new ones with the facility - If they do they will no doubt be expensive server models!

If you use WinXP you can have the connection blinking in the tray.

If you use Win98 thereis software that can do it for you (i.e blinking icon in the tray).
