    C & C Generals.

Is it just me or are the campains very short?
I finished the USA campain in like 4-5 missions.

One in Bagdad, and another middle eastern country then the last missions are in Kazakastan (spelled wrong).

of course i do, i just haven't came across your post yet

so what do you want to know?

    wanna play online?

i'm mostly on the Westwood servers

but one complain is that you don't have as much nice options as the old Red Alert C&C

    gosh i love that

and specially missing the RANDOM MAP geration option, before hosting a game

also how much starting money/Super or no super, etc, etc

7 missions each, don't know about the Tut's, never played 'em.

so 21 Missions, that's not short, not compared to Splinter Cell.

I finished them all in 2 days

first day did all Saddams and halfs of the Chinese missions

then day 2 finished the remaining 3 Chinese missions and all of the George B. missions

    waaaay tooooo easy.

i played all the maps with BRUTAL PCs

1 vs 7 Brutal, or whatever the maps can fit

    and got all the metals

and now i'm playing onlines at westwood

Although my computer wouldn't play this game (video card compatibility issues) my freind finished the game in merely 36 hours.

It seems too easy(difficulty level Brutal) and was too short...

the USA and Chinese missions except for one or two were all too easy.

The Game is good, don't take me wrong

i just miss the features in Red Alert

in fact i really like this game

    it's just so much fun

i've been waiting for this kind of game for a long long time

    it was about time

too bad they didn't invest more time to bring all the Red Alert elements back to it.

Dune Emperor was more like a pre Beta version of C&C Generals, with bad 3D engine, and sloppy job

C&C General is like a major Public BETA for the next C&C Red Alert?

Solid 3D engine, good game player, overall all good, just not enough features

With you there on the short side.

Multiplayer is good fun, but as you all said.... Not enough variables.

Not got broadband, so havn't played online yet. Not available in my area

If its not broke, make it go FASTER!

This game is history! Now everyone is waiting for new FPS games. Example: Doom 3...

    Give a man a fish
It will feed him for a day
Give a man a fishing rod
    It will feed him forever

Not everyone likes mindless FPS games. But you are right that everyone is waiting for the new Doom.

    You're right on both

i like RTS and Strategy much more than FPS

but every now and then when i feel ballistic due a bad day

then yeah those are good times for FPS like Doom 3, UT2K3 and alikes

    Movie

yes indeed i do miss those scenes too, there actually made the game quite cool

    it gives it more life

At least they could have done 3D version of those instead of the cheeze ones included in this release
