I want to control PCs on my LAN via a single computer(also within a LaN). I need to control the usage of workstations.

What 3rd party software(freeware) can you recommend?

I need software that can:
1. lock/unlock specific computers.
2. Restart, Shutdown specific computers.
3. Access files, resources.
4. View the screen of the specific computer.
5. 'it needs to be stealth.'

I use UltraVNC for all but the last item you asked for. The VNC icon shows in the taskbar as running.

Do a websearch to find the download.

i'll try the vnc. i am currently using the spynet netadmin. i'm not satisfied with its performance.
