Weird Error Message

Hello-
I am getting a wierd alert box message when I am trying to run an exe program. It states that "A temporary file needed for initialization could not be created or written to. Make sure the directory path exists, and disk space is available. I have never seen that before. Does anyone have an idea what I could do to fix this problem??

Windows XP Pro, 512kb Ram, PIII 1.7 Processor, 40GB Hard Drive, and trying to run CorelDraw Graphics Suite 11 install.

Do you have enough free space on HD to install the program?

Corel isn't the best, but they do have some advantages. I also use Adobe to a great extent as well as Microsoft. I'm waiting for a plugin that goes into my head and transfers my thoughts to paper, but until then, I must use horrid software collections. I have approximately 31GB free on the Laptop I am trying to install it on, so it should install fine. I think the message is alluding to the Temp file, but it is empty and I don't see how it couldn't handle it. It seems like it might be having trouble with the lack of DOS naming in Win XP Pro.

I separated the program into smaller files, and I am now able to get it to make the C: prompt screen, but it shuts down saying that there is not enough memory for the program. Is there any way to reallocate more memory to the Temp directory so it can use a bit more??
