“All censorships exist to prevent anyone from challenging current conceptions and institutions. All progress is initiated by challenging conceptions and executed by supplanting existing institutions. Consequently the first condition of progress is the removal of censorships. There is the whole case against censorship in a nutshell.” -- George Bernard Shaw

Participating people who donate their free time do not have much value to the owners on an individual basis. It follows the axiom if it is FREE it doesn't have much value. In the aggregate, it matters and provides revenue. Go figure!

does anyone have the feeling people are jumping on a band-wagon? Either that or the rush of newbies that are flaming the mods here are really other members in disguise.
Either way I'm staying.

I guess I'll reply to this thread also, since everyone and their mother has replied to this. I don't see the big deal over one topic being "banned". I can see why it was banned. It is controversial(sic) and it does nothing but cause problems. I feel there are other places on the Internet to discuss your views on the war..a tech forum is NOT one of them. so as I said in another thread, I'm sticking around.. Now if things get so far out of hand that in the sysopt community forum we are banned from discussing the weather,THAN I might leave...
