    Disk Problem!

    Hi, im sure i posted the other day but i cant see anything there, so ill post again.

    The problem im havin is i backed up all my data 2 a cd of my fav sites, family pics, and stuff using my freecom cd/rw. b4 i did a reinstall of windows 98se and upgrade to windows XP.

    Now after gettin my system up and runnin again i find wen i put in the cd i get message that says UDFREADER and it wont let me access anything on the cd

    What is this and how can i get my info back ?

    Have you installed Roxio Easy CD Creator yet?

    Basically, you used Direct CD to store your stuff and XP isn't compatible with Direct CD. You should have used Easy CD Creator and created a data CD. You will have to get someone else to transfer the files to another CD in the normal fashion.

    Install the UDFREADER contained in that CD and reboot....
    It will then read normally...
