I would say go with XP PRO. It`s fast and stable IMO.

I don`t have any issue with games so it`s working best for me!

Win XP has an option to make older games compatible. It`s called the Program Compatibility Wizard!

I believe allgamer is of the opinion that ME is superb... could be wrong though... I use XP Pro and have had only minor niggles, which mostly get ironed out with the PCWiz...

Heard good things about 2k. I don't like XP. I'd go 98SE IMO.

Win XP Pro if you have the horsepower (resources) to run it, otherwise Win98SE is the best option for games etc., IMO....WinME blows chunks, based upon trying to correct problems UUUGGGGHHHH

2k pro, if you have any ancient DOS games etc though you may want to get an older cheap machine and put win98 on it, or run a win98\2k dual boot
