PDF to Something Else?
I have a strange situation. I receive a report every month in Adobe PDF format. I need to generate another report based on some of the data. It is rows and column, like a spreadsheet. I am finding that when in Adobe Reader, it does not really lend itself to copying the cells I need, most of the time I get half a page highlighted when I try. I know the idea behind using this is everyone can read it and not change it, but I really need to get to some of the data and extract it. Is there any way that the file can be converted to another format that I could copy from effectively? I am speaking to the people who generate the report and they are willing to send me the original EXCEL spread sheet, but that is an huge document.
Thanks

Try printing to Fax or Paperport if you have them.
