    MSI KT4VL question

I was running my MSI KT4VL with a AMD Athlon XP1700+
@ 140FSB and I was getting a corrupt .cab file error
when installing software. When I bumped it down to
133FSB, installation went smooth. Is this a software situation
or a problem with my mobo? I'm running Win98SE. Thanks!

Unless its the cdrom drive and transferring files with it then it could be you may need to bump up your vcore if for example its at 1.70 kick it up to 1.75 in bios or slow down your ram if the cas is at 2 then set it to 2.5 to stabilize it.

Or might check for a bios update and see what issues it addresses.
