Joystick for Battlefield 1942
Can anyone recommend a joystick for flying in Battlefield 1492. It's getting annoying using the keyboard controls! I would also like to use it for sim flying games as well. Not to expensive though.
Thanks,

Hey I use a microsoft sidewinder and it works really well. I tried some of the real cheapies but they were ****. I don't think the sidewinder non force feedbacks cost too much. Hehe stick helps drive the tanks too

Sidewinder here.
I would use it to drive the tanks, but i wanted to move the turret with the x + y axis of the joystick, but it wouldn't let me unfortunately.

Woah, YOU bought a joystick, but YOU can't open it until your birthday?? What kind of self-restraint is THAT . J/k, it's funny.
Hey bpaz309, I didn't know they could fly back in 1492. Must have sucked being tied to a kite, or what.

Grabed a Logictech Wignman just for this game. It makes such a difference. You'll really see the difference once you get a joystick in there.
