LoL, i don't want to sound bland here but thats just not true,...AMD's generate a hole lot more heat than the Intels, andare extensivly harder to OC, coz when you do they just get to god **** hot, and i myself play games whilst running things such as word mIRC kazza Bitorrent outlook etc,...but thats more of a RAM issue than anything else.

    Sorry LoL

But in all honestyi find intel systems for gaming to be extensivly faster than any AMD system iv had =|

    Admitidly yes,..they were **** lol

There must be something wrong w/ your system. Normally an Athlon 2800+ is about as fast as a P4 2.8GHz.

generally you can accurately rate or compare these score on three basic elements in your system...

    The graphics card
    The CPU size and cache
    The memory type

    and possibly overclocking.....

I am going to run this again to check the accuracy of this test engine....and want to do another check on another benchmark tool also.....

    I have this : P4 2.8GHZ 800FSB
    DDR400 Corsair XMS dual channel Platinum ( 2 x 512 )
GE Force FX 5900 video card
    ASUS P4P800 Deluxe MOBO
    Phenom 2 X4 B35 :ASRock N68C-S UCC: G Skill DDR1333 ( 4GB ): ATI Radeon HD6770 1GB : Logitech X504 5.1 SS speakers.:WD 500GB,&300GB Sata2 HD's ; Liteon Lightscribe 24X DVD/combo Drive : Antec 620C neo PSU: CTL 22"WS

    Hey Platoon:
How did he get to that speed???? I swap out a 2500 and a 3200 for fun in my system.
Can you let me know his settings?? I can't get past 2350 with a 2500 unlocked. Maybe it's the mobo I am using, K7N2 Delta ILSR. I have Corsair XMS 3200 C2PT 2X512 at 5,3,3,2. Is the card oc'd?

Also the best I could do with my oc'd 3200 and oc'd 9800 pro (ATI) was 19100 and 6700 respectively.

I am using air cooling.... Aeroflow... lots of case fans, etc, so temps have yet to be a problem. Just can't get the system stable above about 2350 with the 2500 and 2400 with the 3200.
