    Web address line vanished (IE6)

I am running WinXP Home Edition. A few days ago, I noticed that there is no longer a space at the top center to type in a web address. Everytime I want to go to a different site, I have to indirectly find the site by doing a web search, then click on to the desired site. This is totally frustrating!
Can someone tell me how to easily get the web address line back? I tried changing everything in Internet options, default settings etc.

do you mean the address bar? just right click in the gray area next to the shortcut buttons and check address bar.

Hey Midknyte, You helped me fix it. I had so many options checked off on the tool bar that the address bar was crowded into the right hand corner and I couldn't pull it over. I unchecked several options, uncrowded the toolbar, and pulled over the address bar to the left and expanded it.

    Back to normal Thanks
