MSI CD-RW Firmware Problems...
I was tring to update the Firmware from version 1.20 to 1.50 on my new MSI RW. I read a review and there were some compatabilty issues and burn speed issues resolved so I wanted to upgrade. It says to boot to DOS and at the command prompt enter the update commands after moving files to C:\. Well I have XP and I run the command prompt and when I try to upgrade it says "CD_RW not found. Any suggestions?? Do I need to start my pc in DOS mode??

How big are the files?
You can create a boot disk in XP by right-clicking the floppy drive and selecting Format. Now select Create MS-DOS startup disk.
You now have two choices. You can copy the firmware update to that floppy or put in a folder on C and boot up and run. If your drive is formatted as NTFS, you need to use he floppy method.
