    3com v-everything modem problems

I recently purchased a 3com v-everything modem and hooked it up to a machine at the office that I connect remotely to through PCanywhere. Everything was working great.......today I come in and I cannot get it to work. I keep getting an error message from PCanywhere stating that there is a problem intializing the modem. I tried re-installing it with no luck. What could have changed over night?

Open up the PCAnywhere configuration and run though setup again. Like WinFax, I'm sure that it must be keyed to a specific registry key for your modem. One false start or driver change and PCAnywhere will "lose" the modem.

Actually if you are saying it Cannot Initialize

it might be refering to the Modem is not available

try going into the control Panel

    Modem

    and run the Modem Test
