    DMA Modes

    Hi

    What's the difference between "Multi-Word DMA Mode 2" and "Ultra DMA Mode 1"? Just out of interest, because my secondary IDE controller has one device using the former and one the latter... I think my new-ish hard drive and my old-ish DVD drive respectively.
