    incorrect size reported

I have a Seagate 1 gig drive. when I attemp format c: /s, I get "formatting 504.25 mb. Why is it not recognizing the actual size of the drive, which is 1 gig? Only sees like half of it... thanks

how old is the system you are trying to install the drive on? you might need to use a drive overlay software for it to recognize the entire capacity. Are you using autodetect for drive size?

try out the following link for Seagate DiscWizard...it will allow you to create the floppies after installin the DiscWizard.

    http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/...s/discwiz.html

I am not sure whether seagate has included it?(drive overlay) in the newer version of DIscWizard..it was there in Older Versions.
