Web Design - Layout Selection...
I'm building a *fairly* comprehensive website for an investment broker. The website will be pretty simple in content, explaining what the company does and will contain resources on investing, etc.
This will be a simple website, although - I want to create an impressive layout and design. My abilities are broad and include extensive knowledge in HTML, ASP, CGI and Macromedia Flash.
Any ideas for a layout/design are greatly appreciated. Giving links to websites to help demonstrate what you are talking about is most helpful.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion.
However, I don't want to create it so that the ENTIRE website is flash.

I think simplicity can work wonders, here is something I have made for no particular reason, like a personal site, its not professional of course, but it might give you an idea or two, who knows.
<edit:deleted link>
Hope i could help.

I like these. I know the designer who did cesdesign...very talented girl. She taught herself html. I hold a real estate liscence in Maryland and I am also developing a website, looking at other sites for inspiration. I am going to be learning Flash soon but I notice so many Flash sites load very slowly. I like to keep my sites at 8 secs or less load time but sometimes find it challenging when I put too many graphics on the page.

What I like about the Better Homes and Garden site for homes is that it is clean in design, yet provides many resources geared twards the target markets needs. That is the same idea that I have regarding my real estate site...clean...targeted and easy to find resources.
I am looking for some free content for my sites, especially my MDrealty site. I found this site which offers free content and it looks interesting (but I think the design is ...how can I be nice...cluttered). Do you know of any content offering sites?
