    FSB

    What would change fsb from 133/133 to 100/100 without going into setup???? Has happened more then once.

    Just a hunch,I would say some thing with the CPU.

    The only thing that might have changed (onboard audio- onboard modem???) As noted above I have an AMR modem and sound blaster card installed and I haven't touched the board.

    I'm with Ukulele. Did anything else in bios revert to default? There is some tendency for the cmos in the K7S5A to clear itself occasionally. It has happened to me once. Read here from BpB and others:
