turbo or super....
if you had two buttons on your computer and you had to press one of them, which one would it be? The one labeled super, or the one labeled turbo.
You can't press them both.
Why? you ask
becuase I said so

mmmhhh. . . .
turbochargers . . .
turbos are more efficient than superchargers

i'd press super because super and turbo remind me of super charger and turbo charger on a car. turbo is exhaust driven meaning you only really get a boost at high RPM. super is belt driven so you get more power at all RPMs

id press super, because remember those old cases with "turbo" on them that just slowed the computer down, LOL.

only if you already had turbo on
on my 386 we had it wired so it was always in turbo, pushing the button didn't do anything

I'd press Super, as, technically, a Turbo Charger is a form of supercharger, it's really called a turbosupercharger, but got shortened. It's just an exhaust driven turbine that drives the supercharger portion of it. A turbo, works at higher RPM and provides a lower overall boost than a supercharger that's belt driven, there is also the lag factor. However, if you are looking at thermodynamic efficiency, the turbo is more efficient as it uses energy ( the heat in the still expanding and burning exhaust) that would normally be wasted to improve engine performance.
A supercharger can provide much higher amounts of boost, but uses a few of the horsepower it creates to do it's job. However, it provides lots more horses, and there is no lag, as the charger is belt or gear driven and is always providing some boost.

Since when do supercharged engines make more power than similar sized turbocharged engines?
You can get a lot more power out of a turbo engine than a supercharged ones. Ex. - Turboed 1.8 integra drag racing motors can make 500 hp.

A supercharged V8 can make over 5,000 horses, that's when!!!
Please, take it from an ASE certified Master Tech, superchargers can do more,, really

I have a V8 sitting in my Mustang. Seem to have this problem with a "lead" foot, so cops tend to give me tickets. Those extra 4650 or so horses would come in handy in that type of situation.
