Purple plastic 3.5" drive cage fan mounts...
I recently purchased the Thermaltake Xaser II 6000 A aluminum ATX case based on the Chieftec/Chenming Dragon series midtower. I love how one of the 3.5" drive cages has a purple fan mount in it. It's critical for me, as I have six 7200rpm hard drives in here, being that I have two RAID arrays. The problem I have, is that the other 3.5" drive cage does not have a similar purple fan mount, and the other three in the case are a different design (the ones that mount onto the case, not the drive cage) and will not mount to the drive cage. Is there anywhere, that anyone knows, where I can purchase another such purple fan mount cage for the 3.5" drive cage? My floppy drive is mounted in a 5.25" drive bay with face that belonged once to my old internal zip drive that is no longer in use. I'd prefer to use a single fan cooling my 3 hard drives mounted into the cage rather than have 2 drives uncooled and one mounted in a 5.25" drive cooled. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide!

Write to or call Antec and ask if they can supply the HDD fan mount or the whole cage for an AMG case. It's the same stuff.

I got around this on an old system I had (when they had the 60mm fan brackets - but the cage was big enough for 80mms)when by getting some silicon sealant and "glueing" an 80mm fan to the spot where the bracket would be. You don't need much sealant to hold even to highest output 80mms fans once it dries and you can still pull it off and easily scrape off the excess if for some reason you need to.
