I thought this was going to be a piece of cake installing this board but not having much success! Background - I have a gateway 1.2meg computer with on board graphic- according to gateway when I install the agp card computer will bypass on board graphic port and use the agp card but when I installed card computer didnt recognize it and the screen was all messed up with wild colors and it locked my computer up. The chipset should be up to date, I just got the computer 6 months ago, so I should have to dowload new drivers. I am suppose to remove the drivers for my present graphic card, then install the agp card and reboot, then windows is suppose to recognize the new card. After the new card is recongized then install the drivers that came with the card...but I am unsure about doing this.

What happens if the computer doesnt recognize the new card will I be able to go back to my old card.

Am I making this more difficult than it really is? I need some HELP this is uncharted water for me. Thanks
