Thermaltake Smart Fan II Please help!

Hello all I got my system running and have a Swiftech MCX 462+ with the thermaltake smart case fan 2 aboard it.

I want to use the adjustable knob on it. The thing came with NO directions so i had to wing it. I connected the wire from the fan to the CPU fan connector on the motherboard and I connected the adjustable wire to the fan but its running at full speed and its freakin loud as all hell.

How do i make the adjustable knob work on it???

If I remember right, you need to change one of the jumper thing on one of the wires coming off of it. Play around with it for a while and you'll get it.

Hmmm only jumper I see is for the temperature reader on the sensor connection. I'm not gonna use the sensor though.

I took the power off the mobo and attached it directly to power supply gonna see if that helps. Thermaltake is the worst for instructions!

I'm pretty happy so far system is 18C and CPU is 31C. Havent installed windows yet though gotta figure out bios settings first.

I'm using the Thermaltake Spark 7 and it has the same setup. Just remove the jumper and attach the speed adjuster. And or do what I did and just attach the thermal sensor under the heatsink next to the CPU and let it adjust itself.
