I think i have a problem with my mobo??

Ok, i have a new system i just built with the following specs:

    2100+ cpu
    abit kx7-333
    784 megs pc2700 ram (512 & 256)
    2 WD 80gig HD's
    SB Live sound card
    nic card
    Gainward GF4 ti4200

Now when i play q3 the system will freeze up totally with a checkerboard pattern of green and red/white small dots all over. I have to turn the back switch off and back on again to boot up.

Now ive tried different video card drivers(several det's, new and old ones), ive put in a different video card (ti4400) Ive tried different ram, no sound card, just about everything i can think of. So its not the video card im sure.

Btw im running XP Pro with SP1(i tried with and without sp1 as well same thing).

I have the latest via 4in1's. I tried without them as well with no luck.

I have no clue whats going on here. Ive heard of this problem on some other boards but most people seem to think its a bad video card. Anyone have any insight for me? Im totally stuck here, no clue what to do.

    Thanks

Try your strips of ram one at a time or another monitor for now.

Actually i just figured out it is my video card. I totally forgot to uninstall the drivers before i switched cards thats why i thought both cards were having the same problem. Now with the other video card it works fine with new drivers. So its my old video card that is bad.

    Thanks for the help guys.
