It occurs on any processor, OCed or not. It probably won't happen very quickly on yours, because it doesn't look like you upped the voltage much. Increased voltage is the primary cause of excess electron migration.
This is where my signature would go if I wasn't so lazy.

OpK, I really wouldn't risk it-- esp. with a Tbird that is maxed out already at stock. Boy, those silicon atoms will really like getting bumped in there!

Who really cares? It only means it will last 5 years instead of 15, and I don't think you plan on keeping it another 5 years.

Hey Chowdy, according to the title in your initial post, "Election Migration" is when electronic voting is implemented by a political party for the means of "migrating" votes for the opposition to votes for their party, as was most likely done in Florida and will soon be done throughout the country. Your vote counts... one way or the other... haha. Be prepared for Big Brother. Btw, I finally replace my 1.4ghz T-Bird for a $70odd XP2000+ and I'm glad I did. Think about it

hehehe... you mean it was *almost* done in Florida until the judges put a stop to it. Depends on which side you look from.

It only means it'll last 1 year instead of 15, but if that's the way you think of it....

Not on a Tbird overclocked only 150 mhz running at default voltages. That thing will last at least 5 years.

Giblet plus happeneth to be correct. O'clocking by 150 mhz on default voltage will most certainly not make it last 1 year. i would expect 5 years or more at least. Magic.

well i'm not on default voltage though, i'm at 1.8v, where the default is 1.75v. my temps are below 50C.

Close enough to defaults to be just fine.

How'd I read he had his CPU at 1.95v? Must have been the long day. My bad.
