    Stay away from UMAX

    I wasn't sure where to put this so I put it here.
    I own a UMAX scanner (Astra3450). I lost the patch that makes it work with WinXP. So I went to their site, and although they make the patch available for download, if you happen to need the original drivers be prepared to pay! They want $32.00 to send me drivers for my scanner! I'm going to make several back ups of the driver CD so I won't have to bend over for Umax in the future.

    If you buy any used Umax product make sure it comes with the drivers!

    Go to their UK website and download the driver for free
