-dogs are very social
-cats just do their own thing and will completely ignore you half the time
-dogs do some pretty sick things but they are willing to clean themselves off
-cats dont get as dirty but they adamently refuse to bathe and attack you if you even try
-you can look into a dog's eyes and have your heart just melt
-looking into the eyes of a cat won't bring out much emotion.

I like cats though they look shifty. haha.
They're pretty clean AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO PICK UP THEIR SH!TS. (gosh, picking up dog sh!ts is the only time you ever pick up sh!ts). Cat petting is cleaner, cooler than dog. like the other guy said, low maintennance

I hate dogs because they ate my bunny, Inspector Gadget, when I was 5.

I hate cats because we have neighboors with 50 million of them and they poo in my backyard!

Take my advice and get a bunny.

Cats are best.

Dogs drool, demand attention, poop on the floor, want in, want out 5 seconds later, ****, drool more, sniff crotches( this can embarress a new girl friend),dig in the trash, bark all night or day and drool. Dogs like to play, that part is good, but cats will play too.

Cats are good. They are independant, quiet, don't sniff crotches, they don't drool ( did I mention dogs drool?), They capture unwanted rodent life, crawl in your lap and purr when you pet them, they play with toys and are fun to watch. My cat comes when called, enjoys food from the table ( somewhat like a dog) and is all around pleasant to be around. I have bathed her( when really needed, and it's not fun) but cats don't often need a bath as they are self cleaning.

I'll stay with cats, dogs drool too much

Dog meat and wine are a favorite in Asia. Dog tastes more like pork, while cat is white meat, so it's like chicken! It's horrible to see a plucked cat!

My dog can catch a pig or a cat. My cat can't even catch a rat. I don't know where my dog poops and don't ask, but the **** cat craps in the sawdust in my shop. If I ever catch him I'm gonna chop off his tail and make him a matching collar.

Iwas going to say the same thing about dogs tasting more like pork. I've actually eaten it on more than one occasion.

Hell actually when you get sweet and sour pork in some disreputable restaurants you would never know the difference unless you've eaten dog.

Now don't think I go around the neighborhood looking for stray pooches to saute. But 20 years ago when I was doing a tdy in an un-named country one happened by and we were hungry.

Sometimes MRE's just don't cut it.
